Financial costsIn the aftermath of a bereavement, it can be difficult to deal with the necessary bureaucracy. Lewis Solomon Funeral Service in Gravesend can take care of all the details so you don't have to worry, sending the final account to you or your solicitor, whichever you prefer.
Disbursements
Initially, we'll ask you for an amount of money to pay for disbursements, which are the fees that need to be paid in advance, such as cemetery and crematorium fees. We will verbally inform you of all ongoing costs accrued and confirm these with a written estimate sent by post, for your approval. We'll guide you through all the necessary details following a bereavement.
Registration of death
Before the funeral can take place, you'll need to register the death. We can advise you on the process and make an appointment for you to see the registrar. The death will need to be registered in the county where it occurred. We can advise you on the documentary
requirements and act on your behalf whenever legally possible.
Settling your account
We request that all accounts should be settled in full within 4 weeks of the service. However, should there be
circumstances
that make this impossible, please keep us informed. Our sympathetic team is always here for you.
