Fully accreditedAs a BRAMM registered and approved company, members of the National Association of Memorial Masons and the RQMF Register Of Qualified Memorial Fixers, we combine the best of modern materials and techniques, along with the traditional, to give you outstanding stonemasonry.
A wide choice of finishes
We offer a generous selection of stone so you get the look you want. Granite is the hardest material used for the making of a memorial and is very popular. Available in a range of
colours, it lends itself to polishing, bringing out the true beauty of the stone, with designs etched into the polished surface.
Beautiful marble
We have two types of marble for you to choose from. White marble is the most commonly used and is normally blue-white in colour
with darker
blue-grey
graining. Dove grey
marble offers you the same attributes as white but
is blue-grey
in colour
with heavy figuring. If your churchyard doesn't allow white marble, we can use Nabresina, a beige coloured
material for church yards.
Kerb
stones
Kerb
stones surround the whole grave with the inside filled in with chippings or left open for planting. Not all cemeteries allow them, but they are very popular when available and some cemeteries have specific areas set aside for them. Fixed onto an all-in-one plinth, they offer you guaranteed stability and safety.
Memorials for cemeteries
Most cemeteries allow you to use any natural stone, such as granite or marble, but often have a limit on the maximum size permissible. We'll help you navigate the regulations at your local cemetery and talk you through the various attributes of each material so you find the perfect stone for your needs.
Cremation memorials
Memorials for cremation plots tend to be smaller than headstones and rules regarding what is allowed vary
in different sites. We can advise you on your options depending on where you need the memorial for and provide you with free print outs of what the finished stone will look like so you can make changes until it's completely perfect.
Inscriptions
If you require, we can provide you with a layout of your inscription for your approval. We recommend you use Roman, Roman Italic, Block, Old English or Chancery font. We can advise you on the best type of stone to suit your inscription.
Personalised
designs
We can add any design of your choosing to a memorial. Whether you want a simple flower, football emblem, service badge, animal, etc., our skilled craftsmen can incorporate it into the design. We also supply reconstituted marble figures, such as angels, doves and Our Lady, as well as bronze figures and plaques.
